Gourmet Restaurant The son of a Lorraine farmer, Jean-René Pelletier has settled in the heart of the Nantes vineyards, surrounded by producers from whom he buys his produce daily. "To eat is to vote three times a day", he likes to remind us, proud of his origins and the links he has forged with the respect of the people of the land. We simply enjoyed a terrine with pickled chicken livers and mesclun, a hake steak with celery and spinach risotto and shellfish emulsion, and an amandine puff pastry with apples, rum and tonka ice raisins. The delicious madeleine at the end of each meal is its standard, the young female service is efficient and the Muscadet is well chosen.
