Original Restaurant This house of pleasure will always be Michel Guérard's home. And on those evenings of rural bliss, the soul of its creator, who knew the countryside so well, its charms and its natural epicureanism, will always float through the air. And, of course, the teams in place will do their utmost to keep the flame burning, to keep the rotisserie and the big fireplace going, to bring out the most beautiful plates in this setting of stone and wood, of beautiful furniture in an eternal sweetness of life. Thanks to this marvellous menu for lunch and dinner, priced at €58: ham and foie gras pâté with green cabbage mousse, "Maman Guérard" tripe with ham lamb sweetbreads and Gascon tripe baked in a baker's oven, and the marvellous roast chicken with crispy skin or suckling pig "stuffed as in Castile". Choice, generosity, sweetness, right down to the gourmet desserts: rice pudding with pear and hazelnut compote, chocolate fondant cake, "baba poule" with grapes and Armagnac... Superb, friendly service - Guérard magic at its purest.
