Stéphane BURON
Chef : 1 restaurantA member of the "Voltaire" class of the MOF competition in 2004 (the same year as Emmanuel Renaut, Christophe Bacquié and Mathieu Viannay), Stéphane Buron is now inseparable from Le Chabichou, in Courchevel, where he arrived over thirty years ago. His career has taken him to the kitchens of the Élysée and Martinez in Cannes, alongside Christian Willer.
Not yet 25, Stéphane Buron quickly climbed the ranks to become head chef at Le Chabichou in 1996, working alongside Michel Rochedy, who founded this fine establishment with his wife Maryse in the early 1960s. Although the last few seasons have been difficult, between the sale of the establishment and the pandemic, Stéphane Buron has hung in there, more determined than ever to perpetuate the spirit of the Chabichou.determined to perpetuate the spirit of this elegant residence, which, although located in Courchevel, has always avoided the glitz.
Never flashy, never demonstrative, his cuisine is above all steeped in love and gourmandise, in the magnificent landscape that provides such a beautiful setting.
