Private chef in Switzerland before leaving for Quebec
The young woman already knew that she would be working in the hospitality and service sector, and obtained a BTS in Hotel Management. She worked at Jean Coussau's Relais de la Poste in Magescq and at L'Oustau de Baumanière, before spending a few months with her future husband, Malo Tual, as a private chef for a French couple living in Switzerland .
"Malo and I then decided to cross the Atlantic to Montreal. We wanted to discover another culture.Unfortunately, two months after our arrival, the COVID epidemic broke out, and we went to work delivering meals on wheels. "
Atthe end of 2021, work begins to open Pétrocore in Périgueux
Back in France, having matured their project, the couple bought premises in an old building in Périgueux at the end of 2021. "With COVID and then the war in Ukraine about to start, we decided to do all the fitting-out work ourselves, so as not to blow our budget. It took us almost two years to open Pétrocore in the summer of 2023. Malo is alone in the kitchen, I'm alone in the dining room, and we're off to an encouraging start .
