Linda GAMBART

Winner of a Gault&Millau award for her room service, she is an example to all young talents in the restaurant industry.Although she never attended a hotel management school, Linda Gambart makes up for her lack of theoretical training with a long experience of the profession and an innate sense of contact. "When I was younger, she recounts, I started out as a driver/accompanist for handicapped children in the Boulogne area. One day, my father offered me a job at Quai 42, an oyster bar on the port of Boulogne. I really liked it. "
Without a diploma, but with passion
Not always satisfied with the working conditions on offer, or disappointed by employers who didn't always keep their promises, the young woman went on to work as a fish packer in the Capécure district, in the delicatessen of a shopping center, and as a waitress at La Chope restaurant in the gallery of the same shopping center - "I had to serve 150 customers every lunchtime".
