Just a few hundred meters from Cape Town, the atmosphere is regal and festive, in the style of northern estaminets. Tourists and locals alike occupy the terrace and dining room, while the over-active service remains smiling and available in all circumstances (special mention to Linda, who takes care of everything with kindness), and we toast with Raoul beer on draught from a wide choice of brews. On the menu: mussels, oysters, planks to share, fish and chips, shrimp croquettes (too much sauce, not enough shrimp), welsh. Keep an eye on the daily suggestions on the slate; the other day the kippers were excellent, served hot with a salad and lemon garlic sauce... Choice of desserts (crêpes and ice creams) a little limited.
