Room manager at Blossom Bistrot in Vernon, Lidwine's first job was in the events business, where she organized culinary shows, cooking competitions and temporary restaurants...

A change of vocation

Since 2022, Lidwine Armandon has reinvented herself by joining the operational side of the restaurant business. She spent seasons in a number of establishments across France, discovering a profession that had always fascinated her. There she met chef Gabin Rodes, who invited her to join him when he decided to open his own restaurant.

She joined the Blossom Bistrot project in 2024, as Restaurant Manager. Between behind-the-scenes catering and a close relationship with her customers, she explains, "What I love about my job is being part of a joyful experience and a good time for customers."

She co-signs the wine list with the chef, favoring natural and organic wines that follow the restaurant's values. They also choose to highlight little-known nuggets from the Jura, Savoie, Auvergne or Ardèche regions.

A source of pride for the whole team

Lidwine was awarded the Trophée Jeune talent en salle at the Gault&Millau Tour Normandie 2026, even though the restaurant had only been open a year, underlining her remarkable work in service: "It's a very satisfying reward, especially for the recognition of the work we've done since we opened. I'm very honoured. But I consider it a team effort!"
