Élodie LE CLANCHE
Chef de service : 1 restaurantAlthough Élodie Le Clanche's identity papers mention Morbihan as her département of birth, the young woman has long since adopted the customs and art of living of the Gers region. Her delightful lilting accent, naturalness and sense of welcome have been lighting up the Canard Gourmand dining room in Samatan for almost ten years now.
When I was younger, I dreamed of becoming a nurse," confides Élodie Le Clanche. In fact, I followed a classic curriculum until I passed my scientific baccalaureate, and then I took the nursing exam. Unfortunately, I didn't pass and, since I had to pay to take the exam, I joined Au Canard Gourmand to finance my studies. I discovered a wonderful working atmosphere and a small, close-knit team, and I haven't left the restaurant since. I joined as a dishwasher while helping out in the kitchen, which kept the monotony away."
A nature-lover who still frequents the Morbihan region, where part of her family lives, the young woman says she feels fulfilled in the beautiful Gers countryside. "I live in Samatan and walk to work. It's an enormous opportunity, a real comfort of life, and I'm convinced that it influences the quality of my work." Our latest experiences can't contradict her, as evidenced by the Trophée Jeune Talent Service en Salle Occitanie 2024...
