Although his first career was in public works, Alexandre Réaut never strayed too far from the vineyard. From 2018 to 2023, while running his own business, he was already working on the estate, before deciding to devote himself full-time to it. " My family has owned vines for six generations, but it was my parents who started making their own champagne in 1992 ". And, at a time when the practice was still very uncommon, they immediately embarked on biodynamic viticulture. " Biodynamics is really our identity. we haven't used weedkillers on our soils for 30 years, and we encourage microbial life by using horse and cow manure and hemp dust, " explains Alexandre. Following Demeter certification specifications, they cultivate their 11.13 hectares of vines - spread over five communes - planted with 80% pinot noir, 10% pinot gris, 5% chardonnay and 5% pinot blanc and, with their fine raw material, produce seven different cuvées. Their common denominator: great fidelity to their terroir and very low dosage.
