Three restaurants to celebrate Chinese New Year 2024

Lunar New Year 2024 will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The transition to the Year of the Wooden Dragon will be marked by traditions, colorful parades and gastronomy. Gault&Millau has selected three addresses for you to enjoy.

According to Chinese astrology, 2024 will be under the sign of the Wooden Dragon, an animal believed to bring creativity and good fortune. Gault&Millau, for its part, will bring you three good addresses to celebrate this New Year, which, as usual, will be marked by gourmet delights. Three ideas to suit every taste and budget.

Lunar New Year 2024 at the Shangri-La Paris

To whet guests' appetites, the Parisian palace perpetuates tradition and invites you to join them on the hotel forecourt for the opening of the festivities and the start of the emblematic Dance of the Lions. For brunch lovers, on Saturday February 10 and Sunday February 11, chef Quentin Testart will be serving up Chop suey, Porc noir de bigorre à l'aigre douce and Nouilles sautées au poulet jaune et sarrasin croustillant. For those who prefer to celebrate at dinner, an exceptional menu has been devised at the Shang Palace (2 toques), featuring traditional highlights such as Porc laqué with honey and marinated duck foie gras, Buddha jumping over the wall, Wagyu beef sautéed with black truffles, and glutinous rice balls with black sesame and ginger syrup.

Lunar New Year 2024 at Imperial Treasure

For Lunar New Year's Eve on Friday February 9, Chinese gourmet restaurant Imperial Treasure will be offering a special tasting menu for dinner. Chef YU Gang, a native of the JiangSu region north of Shanghai, will be at the helm, offering the famous "LoHei YuSheng" salad with crowned amberjack, various ravioli, and a variety of dishes.e, various ravioli, sautéed Atlantic Blue Lobster with black pepper sauce, crispy vegetable noodles and Peking Peking Duck.

Lunar New Year 2024 at Bao Family

    • simply celebrate a special Chinese New Year menu at Bao Family restaurants, Sunday February 11 during evening service at Petit Bao & Bao Express
