When two generations of chefs meet, Alpine gastronomy reinvents itself. This winter, Marc Veyrat, a leading figure in French cuisine and member of the Gault&Millau Academy, invites Mallory Gabsi (3 toques for his eponymous restaurant in Paris), a young 28-year-old Belgian chef, to join Megève. Known for his talent revealed on Top Chef in 2020, Mallory Gabsi will bring his modern, creative style to a season dedicated to passion and respect for mountain produce.

An unprecedented collaboration between tradition and modernity

from December 4, 2025, gourmets will have the opportunity to discover the fruit of this unique alliance. Marc Veyrat and Mallory Gabsi will work together several times a week to offer original culinary experiences: the three-course "Déjeuner Routier Gastronomique", and the seven-course "Grand Dîner Improbable", featuring wild herbs, local produce and high-definition cuisine.

Among the creations on offer are signature dishes blending creativity and authenticity: œuf de trois heures aux arômes de sous-bois, beignets de lichen et ail des ours, foie gras tiède à la myrrhe odorante, écrevisses au jus rouge et Bleu de Termignon, or a tartiflette revisited in the XXIᵉ century. Prices range from €140 for lunch to €450 for dinner, excluding drinks, promising a complete culinary journey for food lovers.

A convivial, sensory experience

On Sunday evening, Mallory Gabsi will also be present at La Cuisine de l'âtre, a concept devised by Christine Heckler Veyrat, wife of Marc Veyrat. This warm, sensory approach combines flames, embers and smoke for a four-course menu at €240 per guest, creating an intimate, authentic atmosphere that complements Megève's gastronomic offering.

Located at 539, chemin des Ânes in Megève, the restaurant combines traditional Savoyard décor with contemporary comfort. Visitors can also stay on site, extending the alpine experience with rooms available from €750 per night, in a natural and elegant setting in the heart of the village.
