Alessandra Montagne's good addresses

Alessandra Montagne's good addresses

Mathilde Bourge | 11/12/23

Alessandra Montagne, chef at Nosso restaurant in Paris, reveals her top tips for indulging in delicious cookies and craft beers. Discover her tips.

Alessandra Montagne is the chef at Nosso, Tempero and Dana restaurants in Paris. Named Jeune Talent Gault&Millau in 2022, she actively campaigns for more responsible gastronomy, developed with the help of local producers and artisans. When it comes to recommending good places to buy quality bread, cookies or even good beer, the chef is an inexhaustible resource.

Boulangerie Benoît Castel, Paris

Benoît Castel is undoubtedly one of the most famous bakers in Paris. He delights us with his cakes, but also with his decadent all-you-can-eat brunch offered every weekend on rue de Ménilmontant, in the 20ᵉ arrondissement. But if Alessandra Montagne particularly likes it, it's also for its "bread of yesterday and tomorrow, made with stale bread and really very good". An anti-gaspi approach that the Brazilian chef particularly appreciates.

No Ceramic, Montreuil

Alessandra Montagne is a big fan of the work and creativity of Stéphane Caudron, a talented ceramist who has already created tableware for her restaurant Nosso. The craftsman also supplies Mory Sacko, Victor Mercier and Pierre Chomet. Stéphane Caudron does not have a physical boutique, but it is possible to visit his showroom on request, or to sign up for future sales on his website to hope to have a few original pieces at home.

La ferme de Viltain, in Jouy-en-Josas

La ferme de Viltain is a livestock farm, but also a dairy. "The quality of their products is top-notch," assures Alessandra Montagne. And the best part? Youcan book a trip to the farm to pick your own fruit and vegetables, before leaving to cook them at home .

  • Where to go? La ferme de Viltain, Chemin de Viltain, 78350 Jouy-en-Josas.

Alain Ducasse cookie, Manufacture, Paris

Alessandra Montagne confesses to being a great gourmet. In particular, she describes herself as "crazy about cookies", and to satisfy her cravings, she regularly visits chef Alain Ducasse's cookie factory. "His cookies are to die for", she says. And the good news is that if you don't live in Paris, you can have these creations delivered to you anywhere in France.

DBI, independent brewers' distributor in Paris

For beer lovers, Alessandra Montagne recommends DBI, the independent brewers' distributor. This supplier brings together numerous references from artisans in the Paris region, throughout France and even abroad, to offer a wide repertoire of quality beers. "They're truly exceptional," says Alessandra Montagne.

  • Where to find us? DBI, 83 avenue Niel, 75017 Paris.
