Le Jour du Macaron returns for a 21ᵉ edition

Le Jour du Macaron returns for a 21ᵉ edition

On March 20, 2026, Maison Pierre Hermé Paris will once again be celebrating Macaron Day, a gourmet event in aid of the Princesse Margot association. A solidarity race will also be organized.

Starting on March 20, gourmet delights will take on a solidarity dimension on the occasion of the 21ᵉ edition of Macaroon Day, initiated in 2005 by Pierre Hermé. True to its commitment, Maison Pierre Hermé Paris is once again joining forces with the Princesse Margot association, which supports children with cancer and their families. For several days, in Paris and online, this initiative invites the public to transform a simple sweet treat into an act of solidarity.

1 donation, 1 button

At the heart of the operation, the " 1 donation, 1 macaron " scheme will be deployed in stores from March 20 to 22. The principle is simple: for every contribution made, a macaroon is offered as a thank-you. It's a practical way of encouraging generosity while raising awareness of the cause. The drive also continues on the La Maison website, where donations can be made until April 20. The aim of this multi-channel mobilization is to reach a wider audience and provide lasting support for the work done with young patients and their families.

Another highlight of this year's event is the solidarity run organized on March 22 in the streets of Paris, in partnership with the Food Runners Club. Around a hundred participants are expected to cover 8 kilometers, punctuated by gourmet stops in several Pierre Hermé boutiques. Combining sporting effort and gustatory pleasure, the event is designed to be accessible and unifying. Registration fees, set at 8 euros, will be donated in full to the association, reinforcing the impact of this original initiative.

An unmissable event since 2005

For over twenty years, Macaroon Day has been an emblematic event marking the arrival of spring. Beyond the celebration of pastry-making, this day has a strong solidarity-based ambition. The Princesse Margot association, founded in 2012, works on a daily basis to improve the quality of life of sick children, support their families and fund research. Thanks to this type of event, thousands of children benefit from essential support in the face of the ordeal of illness.

By combining expertise, commitment and creativity, Maison Pierre Hermé Paris demonstrates that gastronomy can be a powerful lever for solidarity.
