Féria de P'tit Deux: the not-to-be-missed back-to-school event in Paris

Mathilde Bourge | 9/9/24, 7:42 AM

For the second year running, Paris bistro Deux and tapas bar P'tit Deux are staging a féria in the rue de la Fontaine au Roi. Find out all the practical information you need to know to enjoy the event.

Did you have a hard time getting back from vacation? Tiphaine Mollard and Romain Casas, the duo behind Paris bistrot Deux and tapas bar P'tit Deux, are offering you the chance to extend your summer with a street party at the end of September. On the program: good drinks, tapas and a festive atmosphere!

A South-West atmosphere

After the success of the first edition, Tiphaine Mollard and Romain Casas will once again be organizing a Féria on September 22, 2024, from 11am to 8pm. "For the whole day, we'll be blocking off the street, and the party will take place both in our restaurants, which are opposite each other, and in the street," explains Romain Casas. "We're asking people to come dressed in white and red, just like in the real férias. There'll be plenty of entertainment, including a pétanque tournament, Corn Hole (a game where you throw bags of corn onto a pierced platform), as well as a tombola, a photobooth and a banda for the music," he adds.

Of course, the duo has also planned to treat everyone to quality tapas and drinks. "We'll be offering taloa with beaufort cream, arugula and guindillas, a brioche tomato-mozzarella sandwich with Ossau Iraty pesto, patatas bravas and croquetas with abundance-corn, Espelette pepper and bell pepper coulis. For dessert, there'll be a cookie for everyone", explains the chef of Bistrot Deux (2 toques). "We'll also have a quality refreshment bar with small artisanal Basque spirits, beers from the Parisian house of BapBap located just one block from the restaurant, cocktails and of course softs like homemade iced tea. We're going to be partying all day, in a good, fairly family atmosphere... We can't wait!" enthuses Romain Casas.
