Omar Dhiab's bistro finally opens for lunch
Already getting a lot of attention in the evenings, Elbi, Omar Dhiab's second address in Paris's 10ᵉ arrondissement, now offers an accessible bistronomic lunch.
It's a new stage for Elbi, the Parisian address of 2-toque chef Omar Dhiab, now open for lunch. Previously reserved for parties, this bistro in the 10ᵉ arrondissement opens its doors at lunchtime with a full menu at €29, designed to continue the tradition of its generous, crossbred cuisine.
Between Parisian bistro and mixed cuisine
Opened in 2025, Elbi has rapidly established itself as a singular venue on the Parisian gastronomic scene. In the chef's " dream restaurant ", Egyptian and Tunisian inspirations interact with the codes of the French bistro. This strong identity is reflected both in the dishes and in the atmosphere of the place, where the cuisine is precise, warm and unpretentious.
For this new lunchtime service, Omar Dhiab offers a starter-main course-dessert menu that changes every week. The idea is to offer a more direct interpretation of his evening cuisine, while preserving its richness of flavors. The chef's recipes are accessible yet carefully crafted, in keeping with his universe, where spices and juices play a central role.
on the lunch menu, starters include a new take on oeufs cocotte with merguez, leek vinaigrette with dukkah, and sardines with chermoula. Main courses are more bistro-style, with merguez-purée, cabbage stuffed with kefta or fish of the day served with chickpeas and couscous juice. Desserts continue the dialogue between comfort and oriental flavors, with orange blossom crème brûlée, baba with Thibarine liqueur or rice pudding with accents of amlou and preserved lemon.

While the formula structures lunch, customers can also choose from the evening menu, now available during the day. Signature dishes include hawawshi, lamb shoulder confit and grilled pigeon with chilli and date sauce.
Behind this offer, Elbi retains its identity as a lively, musical table, open from Monday to Friday lunchtime, and until midnight in the evening. Located on rue de Paradis, in the 10ᵉ arrondissement, the restaurant also boasts an impressive wine list, featuring several hundred references, from champagnes to cuvées de terroir.
