In Le Mans, France, this chef is going to organize lunches... in a circus!
A 2-toque chef and circus artists come together for a unique experience: in Le Mans, gastronomy and acrobatics come together at the table for seven spectacular lunches.
Imagine enjoying a surprise menu signed by a chef with two Gault&Millau stars, comfortably seated under a big top, while your eyes marvel at the circus acts. This is the extraordinary experience offered by Le Plongeoir - Cité du Cirque in Le Mans, in collaboration withAuberge de Bagatelle and its chef Jean-Sébastien Monné.
A table at the heart of the show
From November 2025 to July 2026, seven dates promise to combine the circus arts and haute cuisine. Each date will feature a unique encounter between a troupe and a menu: from the aerial acrobats of L'Envolée Cirque to the poetic clowns of L'Attraction Céleste and the acrobats of La Volt. at each performance, a new menu imagined by the chef will be unveiled... but only when it's time to sit down at the table.
Le Plongeoir and l'Auberge de Bagatelle have invented a subtle marriage between food and wine, but this time they're combining gastronomy and live entertainment. For around two hours, spectators become guests, invited on a sensory voyage where the plate responds to acrobatics, and emotions intermingle as the dishes and acts unfold.

With this initiative, Le Plongeoir and l'Auberge de Bagatelle are demonstrating their shared desire to make Le Mans a cultural and gastronomic crossroads not to be missed. Beyond its originality, it's also an invitation to share a convivial and accessible moment (menus between €25 and €30), open to all publics.
