Exceptional Hotel Inaugurated in 1928, this legendary hotel regained its prestige in 2010 after several years of restoration by Philippe Starck, who preserved the spirit of the place (its stained glass windows, its original staircase) while infusing it with an arty modernity with a private screening room, a contemporary art gallery, a bookshop and a collection of 300 works of art spread throughout the establishment, including the 149 luxurious rooms and suites. The 1,500 m2 Clarins & myBlend spa (one of the largest in Paris) features a 23 m pool, hammam, sauna and cabins offering a wide range of exceptional treatments. The latest nugget is a contemporary, cosmopolitan restaurant with Matsuhisa Paris, the prestigious table of Japanese chef Nobu, and Il Carpaccio, which celebrates transalpine cuisine.
