Exceptional Hotel Gourmets swear by Christophe Hay's cuisine, and many regretted not being able to continue their discovery over a weekend. Their wish has now been granted, as the talented chef has opened a hotel in Blois, on the banks of the Loire, which has rapidly become one of the region's HQs. Formerly a hospice, the immense 17th-century building has been reinvented by interior designer Caroline Tissier, who has produced a master stroke: A bar organized around sumptuous period pillars, two dining rooms with decor inspired by the changing colors of the river, a splendid Sisley spa extended by an outdoor swimming pool with a large lap pool... The 44 rooms (including 11 suites) offer the same unostentatious luxury, with beautiful spaces opening onto the river, adorned in shades of ochre and beige and furnished in pure lines. Inaugurated in 2022, the hotel is now a Relais & Châteaux member.
