Gault&Millau's review 2025

Between Nice and Monte-Carlo, the Château de la Chèvre d'Or is a legendary hotel, arguably the most emblematic on the Riviera. Perched atop the medieval village of Èze, this 5-star hotel boasts a unique panorama, 430 m above the Grande Bleue, with the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula in the background. Inside, the guest book signed by Clint Eastwood, Lauren Bacall, Beyoncé and Bill Clinton sets the tone. This is an exceptional place, as evidenced by the 45 rooms and suites of refined luxury, each with its own private entrance, just like a village house.
