Bakery Since the age of 14, Cédric Girard has known baking and pastry-making by heart - his passion! In 2024, after many years of experience, he became his own boss by opening the Maison Girard. Some fifteen different breads are baked with quality flours from a mill in Haute-Vienne. In addition to the specials, Le Briard (a boule with a mix of rye and country flour) is a great success. The 24-hour fermentation of all these crusty breads, with their airy crumb, ensures a long shelf life. Butter pastries are a real treat! The same goes for pastries. "During the week, we offer a more traditional range with éclairs, tarts depending on the season, Merveilles and Flognardes, a regional specialty. At weekends, the recipes are more elaborate," explains Cédric. He makes bavarois, Trois Chocolats, charlottes and the famous Trepaïs, which is highly regarded in the region. On the snack side, sandwiches, quiches, wraps, burgers and potato pâté on Thursdays are available to take away. And during the festive season, homemade chocolate will delight chocolate lovers!
