Pastry In this small village in the Vosges region, this bakery and patisserie is a gourmet expression of traditional know-how. Dylan, a local boy trained at the CFA in Versailles, took over the bakery after returning to the region. This enthusiast, who has always dreamed of becoming a pastry chef, makes the great classics of French pastry in-house, and gives pride of place to local produce. The emblematic blueberry can be enjoyed as a tart, a viennoiserie (with a pain au chocolat revisited with homemade jam) or a dessert, accompanied by chocolate. On the bakery side, discover the Belbriette baguette or the Athlétique bread, the best ally for visiting athletes, with its mix of dried fruits. The breads are made with flour from a mill 70 kilometers away, which grows its own wheat. Don't forget to stop by the snack section to try the pâté lorrain (puff pastry, marinated pork, white wine and spices) or the flammes, a home-made creation: original twisted flammenkueches, ideal for hiking. You'll appreciate the wide choice of sandwiches, from classics to more daring recipes.
