Gault&Millau's review
A young Belgian entrepreneur, Paul-François Vranken decided to settle permanently in Champagne in 1976 and found his own house in the heart of the Sézannais region. Removing the spirit of cognac from his cuvées, he reveals light, fruity bruts that revolutionize the most discerning palates and give his signature to the brand. The Vranken style is rooted in a vineyard that has been built up over the years, and today the company is one of the few to produce a large proportion of the grapes used to make the various cuvées.
