Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Château Poitevin is located in the northern Médoc, near the Gironde estuary, in the heart of the village of Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac. A family-owned estate founded in the 1950s, the property spans 42 hectares of gravelly and clay soils, planted primarily with red grape varieties. The renovated 18th-century manor house blends heritage with modernity. Committed to sustainable viticulture—and organic farming since 2023—Vignobles Poitevin has joined the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois du Médoc.
