Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Christophe Rapeneau, the cellar master, can take pride in having nearly 40 harvests under his belt, which ensures continuity in winemaking. Previously, he selected grapes from plots classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru in the Montagne de Reims for Pinot Noir and on the Côte des Blancs for Chardonnay. After several years devoted to building up a reserve wine collection, a new range of five cuvées has been launched. They are recognizable by their bottles—the “apple-shaped bottle,” a style common in the 18th century that was later replaced by the traditional Champagne bottle.
