Vaucelle
Created by Thomas Cheurlin, tenth generation of a line of winegrowers established in Celles-sur-Ource since the 7th century, the Vaucelle brand reflects a desire to produce authentic champagnes, rooted in the terroir and faithful to family traditions. The name "Vaucelle", derived from the Old Champagne language, evokes a small plot of land or a valley, in a nod to the village of Celles-sur-Ource and its Cistercian abbey. The cuvées are made exclusively from grapes harvested by hand on the estate, using HVE 3 and VDC-certified sustainable viticulture methods. Thomas Cheurlin also produces Comte de Cheurlin and Cheurlin-Dangin champagnes.
