The nose is flattering, smoky and toasty, followed by pineapple, cardamom, chamomile and a touch of lemon-ginger. The palate starts with fine, enveloping bubbles, revealing aromas similar to those on the nose. The texture is fairly light, but brings a pleasant fluidity and freshness. The finish is long, with spices and ripe fruit. The slight dosage is noticeable at the end, but the tension of the citrus fruit balances it all out. An immediately pleasant champagne.

Royer Père et Fils

Present for three generations, the Royer family works a vineyard located mainly on the hillsides of Landreville, in the heart of the Côte des Bar. They ensure the continuity of a wealth of experience that is reflected in their cuvées. From vine cultivation to blending and champagnization, the domaine expresses its know-how and traditions. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the grape varieties grown on their 25 hectares of vines, which are planted and worked in an environmentally-friendly way, with HVE3 certification.
