Champagnes
Gault&Millau's review
The estate, located on the slopes of Balnot-sur-Laignes on the Côte des Bar, has been handed down from generation to generation since the 18th century. Richard Royer, trained as an agronomist and oenologist, produces cuvées from 13 ha of vines, made from pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot meunier, aged in foudres to produce wines of character, combining richness and elegance. Certified by the Terra Vitis label, the estate is committed to respecting nature and the consumer. The wide range of seven champagnes means there's a wine for every occasion, from brut to demi-sec rosé to extra-brut. An estate we recommend discovering as soon as possible.
