Gault&Millau's review
The Prestige des Sacres brand is the name of the dynamic Janvry cooperative winery created in 1961. Sixty cooperative winegrowers contribute their grapes, most of which are Pinot Meunier which, as the cellar's president says, is sometimes a little rustic but always complex and generous. 40 crus and a real diversity of soils enable the cellar master to create well-balanced blends. Prestige des Sacres refers to the coronations of the kings of France in the Champagne capital.
