Pascal Mazet
The Pascal Mazet champagne house, which has 2 ha of vines, has set down roots in the small village of Chigny-les-Roses, a terroir classified as a first growth - a first step towards quality. But quality doesn't stop there! Pascal Mazet favors working the soil under the vine rows to aerate it and bury natural organic amendments and fertilizers chosen with respect for the environment. Grass growth is also controlled by mowing. These farming practices prevent erosion and encourage the vines to root deeply. Pascal's son Olivier took over the reins of the estate in September 2018.
