This 100% pinot meunier cuvée, from the 2015 vintage, 50% of which was vinified and aged in barrels and 50% in stainless steel tanks, opens with a promising nose combining floral aromas with the sweetness of honey. The woodiness then appears discreetly with aeration. The palate is subtle and the finish taut.

Michel Hoerter
Winegrowers since four generations, the members of the Hoerter family setlled in the village of Essômes sur Marne. Nowadays, Jean-Philippe, great grandson of the founding member, manages this 9-hectare estate. He mostly grows Pinot Meunier and has been doing so according to sustainable viticulture for more than 16 years (cover crops one row out of two, leafing, mechanical weeding, ferlilizer from cattle). The vines are approximately 40 years old and the oldest plot was planted in 1936.
