Gault&Millau's review
This 5-hectare estate in the Surmelin valley, a tributary of the Marne, has been run since 2010 by Maxime Toubart, current president of the Syndicat général des vignerons de la Champagne. The vineyard is planted mainly with pinot meunier (60%), supplemented by pinot noir (25%), chardonnay (15%) and a few rows of petit meslier. Certification (high environmental value) and VDC (sustainable viticulture in Champagne) were obtained in 2020.
