Gault&Millau's review
Maxime Blin makes his own cuvées on the family estate. These come exclusively from the Trigny terroir, nestled in the heart of the Saint-Thierry massif, northwest of Reims, on sandier soils than is usual in the region. Maxime adheres to the Vignerons Indépendants charter, and as such vinifies only his own grapes. His 12 ha of vines are planted with the three main Champagne grape varieties, with pinot noir on half the land. The estate is in the process of converting to organic viticulture, but already practices alternative viticulture. The wide range of champagnes includes no fewer than eleven different cuvées.
