"Cal Demoura" means "you have to stay" in Occitan. Founded in the early 1990s by Jean-Pierre Jullien, the estate, located in Jonquières in the heart of the Terrasses-du-Larzac vineyards, has contributed to the Languedoc's quality revolution. Isabelle and Vincent Goumard took over when Jean-Pierre retired. The generous Mediterranean climate is balanced by the cool air of neighboring Larzac. This enables the grapes to retain their freshness and acidity, and develop a beautiful palette of aromas. The 11-hectare estate is planted on limestone and clay-limestone terroirs and is managed biodynamically.
