The nose has pleasant herbal notes: dried rose, thyme, and lemon verbena. Spices are also present, with aromas of cinnamon and licorice root. A hint of milk chocolate and toasted bread rounds out the profile. On the palate, in addition to the herbal notes, fruit comes through (pear, green mandarin) to create a rich, indulgent flavor. The youthful finish is marked by lovely bitter notes. A dynamic and joyful wine.
