Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
A winemaker since 1844 with Léopold Dousset, it was in 1976 that Louis Dousset created the champagne house that bears his name. Based in Verzenay, a Grand Cru village on the northern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, Jean-Roch Floquet, Louis' grandson, cultivates 8 hectares of vines planted exclusively with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. He practises integrated viticulture, combining respect for the terroir, reduced inputs and innovative techniques (biodynamics, in-house yeast, gravity-fed working, etc.). The vineyard has been certified organic since 2024.
