The Yung family, with over 150 hectares of vines and an annual production of one million bottles, has been cultivating its ancestral know-how for five generations. Originally from the Rhineland and settled in Algeria, the family had to abandon its vineyards after independence in 1962. Charles Yung and his family then acquired Château Haut Mondain in Bordeaux, then expanded their properties. In 1982, following a separation, the family created the SCEA Charles Yung & Fils and took over several châteaux. In 1999, they founded a distribution and trading company, HDP Les Hauts de Palette, with the aim of expanding and diversifying. Today, Jean-Christophe manages production, while Rodolphe and Cécile oversee marketing and administration.
