Gault&Millau's review
The 4-hectare estate, located in the village of Boursault, is unique in that it comprises seven parcels with distinctive characteristics, in the historic family estate of Château de Boursault, formerly owned by Madame Veuve Clicquot, acquired in 1927 and overlooking the Marne valley, on a clay-limestone terroir. The press, cellars and winery are also located in the clos, a few hundred meters from the furthest parcel. The estate abandoned the use of insecticides in 1991 and herbicides in 1995. To discover its production, the domaine offers cheese and champagne pairing lunches, as well as workshops and masterclasses, by reservation only.
