Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Jean-Pierre and Jocelyne Secondé have been winemakers and handlers since 1975 in Mailly-Champagne, a village classified as a Grand Cru, a terroir of excellence for the pinot noir grape variety. The domaine exploits a diversity of plots from Sillery to Verzenay, including clay and limestone soils, old vines and young plantations, giving their champagnes a great aromatic richness. The house motto is: "A good wine begins with a good grape". Jean-Pierre and Jocelyne have gradually handed over the reins to their daughter Annabelle, who now heads up the management of the estate.
