Gault&Millau's review
It's the rebirth of a brand created in 1820 by the Irroy brothers that the Taittinger house, owner since the 1950s, wants to see shine once again in the firmament. Historically, the wines of this estate have graced royal courts the world over. The reins have been entrusted to two dynamic young men, Maxime Andriveau and Alexandre Ponnavoy, sales manager and cellar master respectively. A rejuvenated, resolutely modern brand, with lively, fruity champagnes in low dosage that will soon find their audience. Particularly well distributed, these champagnes are perfect as aperitifs.
