Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Located in Venteuil, in the heart of the Marne Valley, this family-owned estate, founded in 1907, was taken over by Béatrice and Raphaël Lamiraux in the early 2000s. The vineyard, ideally situated across from Épernay, benefits from optimal sun exposure and features the three Champagne grape varieties—Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier—allowing for well-balanced blends. As winemakers who have harvested their own grapes for generations, the family cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards on terroirs composed of a mix of clay, limestone, and chalk. They harvest the grapes at full ripeness and vinify their champagnes directly on the estate, producing elegant and well-structured cuvées.
