Georges Vesselle
Originally from a family of winegrowers that has been present in the Bouzy region since the 16th century, Georges Vesselle is a Champenois particularly committed to his famous village, of which he was mayor for twenty-five years. A former director of Mumm and Perrier-Jouët vineyards, Georges Vesselle is developing the family business - a 17-hectare vineyard on the Reims mountain - which was recently taken over by Georges' sons Éric and Bruno. The cuvées are Grand Cru appellation wines, 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, combining fruitiness with finesse and elegance. As for the red wines, the house makes its Bouzy from the oldest vines, combining only the best years.
