Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Born into a family of winemakers that has been in the Bouzy region since the 16th century, Georges Vesselle was a Champagne native who was deeply committed to his famous village, where he served as mayor for twenty-five years. He expanded the family business—an 18-hectare vineyard located in a Grand Cru area on the Montagne de Reims—which was recently taken over by his sons, Éric and Bruno. Camille, his grandson, has joined them in the vineyards and the winery. It’s worth noting that when it comes to red wines, the estate crafts its Bouzy from the oldest vines, blending only vintages of exceptional quality.
