A bright, luminous appearance for this wine from the Bouzy terroirs. The bubbles are of great finesse, and the nose is deeply expressive of kirsch fruit, rose and lilac. The subtle palate unfolds harmoniously with chalky chewiness. An elegant cuvée to be reserved for gourmet dishes such as lobster and sea urchin fricassee, or to accompany oriental cuisine.

Fromentin-Leclapart

A family-run business, Fromentin-Leclapart has been in existence since 1954, with three generations of winemakers in succession. Jean-Baptiste Fromentin farms just over five hectares in Bouzy, a Grand Cru village on the southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims and Ambonnay. The company's champagnes are made from a large majority of Pinot Noir grapes, complemented by Chardonnay, and magnificently reflect the beautiful Bouzy terroir.
