The pure Meuniers of the range have inspired us, but this 2015, created from a blend of 80% Chardonnay with Meunier also enchants us. The nose is fine, elegant and toasty at the same time, but also powerful with very present white fruit. The palate matches with a wine of great personality.

Francis Orban

An atypical commune in the Marne valley, Leuvrigny has been home to the Orban champagne house since 1929. In this microclimate combined with an exceptional terroir favorable to Pinot Meunier, the Orban family was the first to elevate vines to the rank of champagne. It's a passion that has been passed down through four generations, playing on the softness, elegance and nobility of the estate's authentic savoir-faire. Francis Orban has been at the helm of the estate since 1999, and his own brand was launched in 2007. Be careful not to confuse Francis and Geoffrey Orban, the latter being a consultant and trainer in geosensory tasting. All wines from Francis Orban and his estate are highly recommendable.
