This emotionally-charged champagne, with its satin-finish golden color and crystal-clear finish, boasts an abundance of bubbles, heralding perfect effervescence. Intense, complex and racy, the nose is composed of ripe fruit aromas. Golden apple, quince, yellow peach and greengage give way to a marmalade of candied citrus. The attack on the palate is frank, supple, almost tannic and chalky. Overripe fruit carries an underlying minerality. The wine has a long, rich, salivating finish. Ideal as an aperitif or with guinea fowl with cabbage.
