Gault&Millau's review
The estate is located in the south of the Côte des Blancs, on the slopes overlooking the Petit Morin, near the Saint-Gond marshes, which have the advantage of protecting the vines from the vagaries of the climate. A winemaker handed down from father to son since the 19th century, it was Étienne Chéré who began marketing his wines in the 1980s. Since 2018, his three children have taken over the business, refining the cultivation methods to have as little impact as possible on the soil and the environment. It is certified HVE (high environmental value) and VDC (sustainable viticulture in Champagne). The entire range offers excellent value for money.
