After twenty years in geophysics, Emmanuel Haget felt the need to get involved in nature conservation. He trained in organic viticulture with Jacky and Véronique Ripoche and, in 2016, took over vines from Philippe Gourdon, a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in the Saumur region. In 2017, he harvested his first grapes. His 3.8-hectare estate, spread over five parcels around Puy-Notre-Dame, follows biodynamic principles and is certified organic.
