Gault&Millau's review
Maison Émile Leclère is located in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, in Mardeuil, 2 km from Épernay. This prestigious and fascinating setting is where this family business, founded in 1832, has evolved over five generations of passion and expertise. Vincent and Marie, the fifth generation of harvesters and handlers, work together on a 12-hectare estate, with an average vine age of 30 years, spread over a geographical area of 10 to 60 km around the property, and composed of 70% pinot meunier, 6% pinot noir and 24% chardonnay. The domaine's boutique is open from Monday to Saturday, and offers champagnes with good value for money.
