This pure meunier, vinified as demi-sec with no dosage, i.e. drawing on residual sugars, has a beautiful salmon color. The nose is superb, with notes of candied pears, red apples and marzipan. On the palate, the wine is particularly round and not at all sweet, as if the sugars had been digested. Long, tangy finish. Another magnificent cuvée to serve with sweetbreads.
