Édouard Brun
Édouard Brun (1875-1952) founded a champagne house with a few friends in 1898. Edmond Lefèvre, son of winegrowers, acquired a stake in the company in 1928. His children, the Delescot-Lefèvre family, took over in 1968, accompanied since 1994 by their two sons, Philippe (vineyard and wine) and Emmanuel (finance and sales). The company owns 8 ha of vineyards in the Reims mountains, as well as in Aÿ and Mareuil. It also buys 15 ha of additional grapes, ensuring production of 200,000 bottles each year. In its cellars, some of which date back to the 13th century, it has the last working barrel elevator in Champagne (still in use!).
